Brief History

On the auspicious day of Baisakhi, Guru Gobind SIngh Public School was established by Guru Gobind Singh Foundation in 1979 with the object of imparting education in English medium to all children without discrimination of caste, creed or religion . The beginning was very humble with just 9 students in KG Section. The initial abode or the Foundation gave the school, well-equipped library and full fledged Science laboratory & Computer Labs.

 

School Philosophy

The Great Guru Gobind Singh and his teachings have been a constant source of inspiration to all mankind for the last three centuries and will continue to guide us to develop our future. The Philosophy of the Guru motivated the Foundation to start the school to enlighten the generation and serve humanity.

 

Motto

The motto of the School is ” KNOWLEDGE IS POWER”

The School is managed by a very highly motivated Managing Committee and other respectable and professional members. With a view to provide expert guidance for development of the students, they are grouped in 4 Houses, each house having highly qualified & dedicated teachers. Students are motivated to participate in various inter-school and other competitions and their talents are put to use for enhancing individual and group efficiency.

  • To become valuable agents to bring about needed social changes in the country.
  • To participate in co-curricular activities and bring out their talent.
