Exam Pattern : STD V to VIII the curriculum is divided into two terms. Each term consisting of a continuous and comprehensive evaluation.

EXAMINATION FOR I to VIII

  • First Unit
  • First Terminal
  • Second Unit
  • Second Terminal (Annual Exam)

EXAMINATION FOR XI

  • Unit Test I
  • Mid Term
  • Unit Test 2
  • FINAL

EXAMINATION FOR XII

  • Unit Test I
  • Mid Term
  • Unit Test 2
  • Prelim 1
  • Prelim 2
  • Board Exam

CLASS IX ANNUAL EXAMINATION

  • Annual Examination will be conducted for IX in the first week of March and results will be announced in third week of March.
  • Students promoted to Class X will have to attend regular classes from the working day after declaration of the results, till the School close for summer Vacation.
  • Syllabus covered during April-May will not be repeated after the school re-open in June.
  • No Leaves will be granted while examination.

 

NOTE

Students who miss the test / exam due to sickness will have to produce medical certificate from a qualified doctor. Their promotion will be decided on the merit of the previous tests and other records.

 

SPECIAL TEST FOR CLASS X

The entire syllabus of X almost in all teaching subjects would be completed by the concerned teachers by the end of Nov. There after 3 tests will be conducted by arranging question papers from outside. Prior to this almost every month there will be test for all subjects. First Test will start from June 1st.

There is special arrangement of extra classes for standard X, i.e. Extra Remedial Classes for all subjects after school for two hours every day. These classes are for benefit of the students, so parents co-operate must be there with the school.

 

ELIGIBILITY

No student is generally eligible to appear in the Annual. Examination who does not have at least 75% of the actual attendance during the session as per the school calendar. ln genuine cases the Principal may however condone the shortage in the attendance not exceeding 10%.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

Promotion cannot be claimed as a matter of right but it is given on the bases of cumulative results of the unit tests in each subject and the comprehensive examinations. The decision of the school authorities regarding promotion is final. No student is given double promotion.
